Highland and Lone Tree girls were making up a previously postponed game Saturday, and it was what you’d expect from a Highland-Lone Tree game. The Huskies outscored Lone Tree 15-9 in the first quarter but it was 25-23 at halftime with Highland up. Lone Tree would get the win by one 54-53. Highland Head Coach Jody Fink said afterward it’s a rivalry game and no matter the records it’s going to be a battle. For Highland Brittany Gerot had 15 points and was 8-9 at the free throw line, Anna Sweeting had 12 points and 13 rebounds, Kayla Schneider had 12 points and a couple of steals. Highland is now 10-4 and 9-3 in the conference.
