A Kalona family headed to Florida this week in hopes that their adopted daughter would soon be arriving from Haiti. Bill and Lori Minor were in the process of adopting two year old Claudio before the devastating earthquake struck last week. The Minors heard that Claudia was uninjured in the quake and she could be flying into Florida in the next few days. The Minors have been waiting in their hotel room in Fort Lauderdale, anticipating a phone call that their daughter has arrived. It is not guaranteed that she will show up, but the Minors are optimistic that she will.
