A Kalona family in the process of adopting a child from Haiti has received some good news and bad news. The Minors found out that the orphanage were the two year old girl was at, was not severely damaged in the quake. However, Bill Minor told KCRG-TV they had received word that the facility was down to a one week supply of food and medical supplies. The Minors had sent a six month supply of food and medicine, but the shipment stalled in customs when the quake hit. Donations to the orphanage can be made at www.chances4children.org
