The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team got back on track last night with a win over West Branch. The Golden Hawks had lost two straight conference games including a loss last Friday at West Branch. Mid-Prairie was hosting the Bears last night, and it was kind of low scoring in the first half as West Branch led 24-17 at halftime, but the Golden Hawks got the lead with about three minutes left in the third going on a 17-4 run and won 53-46. Tanner Miller had 20 on the night, Michael Aldeman had 14 and Dylan Hochstetler had 8.

In the girls game West Branch beat Mid-Prairie 46-29. The Golden Hawks’ Malory McArtor had eight points and four steals and Katie Redlinger had eight points. The Golden Hawks host Tipton tonight and it will be their Coaches vs. Cancer night and both Mid-Prairie teams will wear special pink uniforms.
