press play to hear from Bill Minor
A family in Kalona is in the process of adopting a two year old girl from Haiti, but because of the recent earthquake, the process is at a stand still. Bill Minor says much of the paperwork required for the adoption, has been lost or destroyed. Minor says they have received word that two year old Claudia is safe at the moment, but the orphanages food and medical supplies are running out. The Minors have been getting their information from the internet and the adoption agency, as well as other families in the U.S. who are in the same situation. The Minors are encouraging all to donate funding or supplies to chances4children.org or the American Red Cross.
