Three Washington men have been handed federal prison terms.
43 year old Mark Louis Young was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and a concurrent ten year sentence for endangering human life while manufacturing the drug. Young was arrested in 2008 after police searched his home as part of an investigation. Young admitted to cooking meth at the residence.
33 year old Darnell Oneal Gist was sentenced to six and a half years in prison for conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine. Gist admitted that between November of 2007 and February of 2009 he had been involved in a drug distribution operation.
46 year old James Alan Mason was sentenced to two concurrent 75 month sentences on gun and drug charges Mason was arrested in November of 2008 when officers executed a search warrant at his residence. They discovered a marijuana growing operation, numerous firearms and what’s described as a large cache of ammunition.
