For the second time this season the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks boys basketball team scored 90 as they beat Meskawki Settlement. Mid-Prairie won 93-61 in Wellman.

Funeral Services for 88 year old Floyd V. Beachy of Kalona is at 10:00 Monday (1/18) morning at the Sunnyside Conservative Mennonite Church in Kalona. Burial will follow in the South Gingerich Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be held Sunday (1/17) from 2-4 and 5-7pm at the Sunnyside Conservative Mennonite Church in Kalona

Demon girls look dominate in win

Also on Saturday, the Demons basketball teams were hosting their Pink Out Night, Coaches vs. Cancer. As part of the night both teams wore pink jerseys that were auctioned off at the end of each game and both teams won their games against Tipton going away.
