Funeral services for 63 year old David L. Crawford of Wayland, formerly of Washington are at 10:30 Saturday (1/6) morning at the United Presbyterian Church. Burial is in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation begins at noon tomorrow (1/15) at the Jones Eden Funeral Home. Family visitation is from 5-8 pm. A memorial has been established to Washington County Hospice, Halcyon House or the United Presbyterian Church.

A traffic accident on old Highway 92 completely blocked traffic for almost two hours this morning. The Washington County Communications Center says a tractor trailer was too tall to fit under the overpass near Walker Livestock near Washington and smashed into the structure. The roadway was closed from about 8:30 until approximately 11:00 am.
