Two state lawmakers that represent southeast Iowa are in Washington this morning. Senator Becky Schmitz and Representative Larry Marek will be at the Washington County Courthouse for the Chamber’s legislative briefing. Both have said budgetary issues are a primary focus. The legislative briefing goes from ten ‘till noon. KCII will record the session and rebroadcast it as a special edition news magazine starting at 1:00 this afternoon.
