Washington School Board members want a few assurances if and when they decide to sell a 90 acre parcel of land on the north side of town. At last night’s meeting, members said they want to make sure they get an adequate amount of money for the land, pay as little as possible to outside costs such as an auctioneer or broker, and act in a manner that will help better the community. The city of Washington has expressed interest in buying the land to build a wellness park.
