Washington School Board members this week are expected to address some personnel issues. The board is expected to respond to the Service Employees International Union’s pay raise proposal. The union is asking for a one percent increase to the base wage. They are also proposing a one year contract. Board members are also expected to take action on an early retirement plan and a real estate purchase. They’ll meet Wednesday night at 6:30 in the school administration building.
