Supervisors Could Set Public Hearing for Zoning

Posted: Monday, January 25th, 2010 at 6:21 am

Washington County Supervisors are expected to set a public hearing date for a proposed zoning ordinance this week. They’d planned to do it last week, but delayed until they could find out when their contracted planner would be available. Board members will also hear quarterly reports from General Assistance, Veteran’s Affairs and the Sheriff’s Office. Also on the docket: establishing the 2010-2011 budget adoption process, accepting the county employees group health care plan actuarial opinion and a local housing trust funding request. The meeting starts at 9:30 Tuesday Morning in the Washington County Courthouse.
