A Washington man has been sentenced to twelve and half years in prison on gun and drug charges. 46 year old James Alan Mason was sentenced Friday in U-S District Court in Davenport. The two 75 month prison terms will run concurrently. Mason was arrested in November of 2008 when officers executed a search warrant at his residence. They discovered a marijuana growing operation, numerous firearms and what’s described as a large cache of ammunition. Mason was also convicted on felony drug charges in 1994 in Henry County.
