With the deer season ending on January 31st, many hunters now have the opportunity to have their antlers measured. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources Southeast District Office in Lake Darling State Park will be taking measurements Tuesday, February 23rd from 1 to 8 pm and on the 25th from3 to 8pm. Antler measurement is based on the Boone and Crockett scoring system. Measurements will be on a first come first serve basis, unless you reserve a specific time by calling Don Pfeiffer at 461-3511.
