The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team has moved on to the District Final round and one game away from Sub-State with another runaway win. The Golden Hawks traveled to Brooklyn to face BGM and outscored BGM 22-5 in the first quarter leading 41-14 at halftime. Mid-Prairie won 75-38. Tanner Miller had 24 on the night, Michael Aldeman finished with 15 and Quinn Hollan had 12. The Golden Hawks are now 16-5 on the season and will face Pekin in Ottumwa on Tuesday. Pekin was a winner against Van Buren 56-40. The winner of the Pekin-Mid-Prairie game will face the winner of Albia and Davis County. Albia beat Pella Christian 42-41 while Davis County beat Eddyville-Blakesburg.
