Efforts to build a new facility for Washington County Public Health have a hit a few snags. Public Health Administrator Edie Nebel says the site they are looking at would have to be cleaned up more extensively than they had originally anticipated. Nebel says funding has also become a concern. She says they were hoping to get some grant money from the USDA, but discovered that they are only eligible for a loan. Nebel says they would not be required to accept the loan if they are approved. She says they want to make sure the option is available if they need it.
