Panthers beat Demon boys to win conference title

The Washington Demon boys basketball team played a tight game in Demons Gym against 2nd ranked Mount Pleasant but in the end the Demons couldn’t get to the free throw line as much as the Panthers and that would hurt them.

Memorial Service for 85 year old Evelyn D. Worley of Washington is at 2:00 Monday (2/15) afternoon at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington. Interment is at Elm Grove Cemetery with full military honors later this spring. Visitation is from 2-4 Sunday (2/14) afternoon at the Beatty Funeral Home. Memorials may be designated to F-Troop Historical Assoc., American Legion Post #29 and Hospice of Washington County.
