Southeast Iowans are digging out after winter storm brought heavy snowfall to the area yesterday and during the overnight hours. The National Weather Service says more scattered flurries are expected today as an upper level disturbance over the northern plains will drop down across the region. Little, if any new snow accumulation is expected. Clearing skies and much colder temperatures will fill in behind the passing disturbance from west to east after midnight.
