press play to hear from National Weather Service Hydrologist Maren Stoflet

The National Weather Service has released two spring flooding outlooks so far this year, and the chances of flooding are up in much eastern Iowa. Hydrologist Maren Stoflet says high ground moisture going into the winter months is one reason for the prediction. Stoflet says some of those factors include river levels and snow pack. The next spring flood and water resources outlook will be issued March 5.
