Washington County Supervisors continue to hammer-out next year’s budget. Chairman Jim Miksch because the spending plan needs to be certified by mid-March, it can pose some challenges, because they often don’t know what the state’s budget will look like. Miksch is also concerned that the state government reorganization could shift some of the burden to local government bodies. Supervisors have budget sessions scheduled for Thursday and Friday this week.
