City officials in Washington have offered the school district a “very solid” offer to purchase a 90-acre parcel of land. School board members took no action on the offerthis week, but have said they are “interested in working with the city.” The board has opted to have two members continue negotiations with the city. They hope to build a wellness park on the property.
