A proposed zoning ordinance for Washington County is up for first reading this week. Supervisors will take public comment on the contentious issue during a special meeting. Law requires ordinances to undergo three readings before being passed. The earliest the ordinance could be up for either approval or denial by the board would be February 22. This week’s public meeting is Wednesday night at 7:00 at the Washington County Fair Building.
