A former Iowa governor who’s campaigning for his old job says elected officials will be forced to make some difficult decisions in the near future. Terry Branstad says the size and cost of state government needs to be shrunk. He says leaders need to take a look at what programs need to be offered, and one’s that they would like to offer, but really can’t afford.
