An attorney from Des Moines who wants Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley’s job is planning a visit to Washington tonight. Democrat Roxanne Conlin announced in November she’d seek her party’s nomination for the post. Conlin has touted her experiences growing up in a “pay-check-to-paycheck” household and as a prosecutor as some of her qualifications for the office. Conlin is set to face at least two other Democrats in the June primary: Bob Krause of Fairfield and Tom Fiegen of Clarence. Conlin is scheduled to visit the Washington Public this afternoon at 4:30.
