The girls track season began with the first indoor meet, the Demons Indoor was held on the campus of the University of Iowa yesterday. Several schools were there ranging from 4A to 1A. Washington took 14 girls to compete and some of the big performances included the distance medley team of Marissa Gaal, Lucy Libe, Maddie Bohr and Regan Enfield taking fourth out of 20 schools running in the event. The 4×8 team of Regan Enfield, Beth Dillon, Lucy Libe, and Lauren Kimball finished 7th. Also in the 60 meter dash Maddie Bohr advanced out of the prelims and finished 10th. The Demon Indoor boys meet will be held tomorrow.
