The third and final legislative briefing was this weekend at the Washington County Courthouse. State Representative Larry Marek and Senator Becky Schmitz were on hand to update the public and to take questions about this legislative session. Some topics covered were about regulations on text messaging while driving, puppy mills, restoration to Lake Darling and the investigation concerning the Iowa Association of School Boards.
