press play to hear from Sandy Greiner

A former state representative and current state senate hopeful from southeast Iowa says backlash over healthcare reform and other Democratic initiatives could help Republicans seeking office this fall. Sandy Greiner is seeking the GOP nomination to run for the Iowa Senate in District 45. The post is currently held by Democrat Becky Schmitz. Greiner says it’s still too early to say exactly what impact healthcare legislation will have. Greiner says some sort of healthcare reform is needed, but what passed over the weekend isn’t the best approach. She’s set to face two other Republicans in the June Primary.
