As tractors, and other farm equipment begins to emerge for the spring planting season, the regional director of the ISU Extension’s District 15 in Southeast Iowa is urging motorists to be on the lookout for those bright orange triangles. Gene Mohling says it’s also important to watch for implements coming in and out of driveways, and making turns off of public roadways. He also urges farmers to take their time and put safety ahead of speed.
