KCII Radio is being recognized as Main Street Washington’s Business Partner of the Year. They were given the honor at this week’s chamber of commerce awards ceremony. Virginia McCurdy presented the award and said the station’s staff is “very instrumental in helping Main Street with their advertising and marketing plans.” McCurdy also says their professionalism has given them both an area wide and local presence. While accepting the award, KCII General Manager Joe Nichols pledged to continue the station’s mission of providing coverage of local news, sports and information.
