The Mid-Prairie boys’ basketball team failed to reach the second round of the State Tournament after losing to Solon yesterday afternoon at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. The Golden Hawks lost 50 to 46 after nearly erasing a 14 point deficit entering the fourth quarter. Junior Michael Aldeman led the way in scoring with 20 points, and Senior Tanner Miller finished with 18. Mid-Prairie finishes the season with 19 wins and six losses.
