press play to hear from State Climatologist Harry Hillaker

Rapid snow melt and rain last week has many Iowans concerned about flooding. State Climatologist Harry Hillaker says this week’s forecast should help alleviate some of those worries. He says a high pressure system is moving into the area which should bring dry, warm conditions. The National Weather Service forecast calls for slight chances of rain tomorrow night and Friday night. At least partly sunny skies are expected throughout the daytime hours this week.
