President Barack Obama is coming to Southeast Iowa this week. The president is speaking about health care Thursday in Iowa City. The visit comes four days after the House approved a bill extending health care to many uninsured Americans, and preventing insurance companies from denying coverage because of pre-existing medical conditions. Obama first gave his health care plan idea in Iowa City back in May of 2007, when he was seeking the Democratic nomination. The President will speak at the University of Iowa Field House.
