The Kalona Recreation Center is hosting an open house event for kids and teens. There will be games, a movie, free snacks and drinks. Funeral services for 92 year old Lucille K. Statler of Washington are at 1:30 Saturday afternoon at the Jones Eden Funeral Home in Washington. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation begins at noon Friday at the funeral home. Family visitation is from 6-8 Friday night. A memorial has been established to the United Presbyterian Home.
