Winona Smith

Funeral services for 88 year old Winona Smith of Washington will be at 10:00 am Tuesday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home.  Burial will be at the Elm Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from noon to 8:00 tomorrow at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home with family visitation from 7:00 to 8:00.  A memorial has been established to the New Horizons Center in Cedar Rapids.

William “Hap” Monroe

Funeral Services for 94 year old William “Hap” Monroe of Washington will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 (3/23) at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington.  Burial with military honors conducted by Washington American Legion Post 29 will take place at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth.  Visitation will be held at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home on Monday starting at noon.  Family visitation will be from 6:00-7:30 Monday evening.  A memorial has been established to Hospice of Keokuk County.
