TEA Party Organizer: Threats of Violence not Justified

A local TEA Party Chapter is planning a meeting this weekend in the wake of the passage of the new healthcare law. Organizer Laddie Oliver says they see measures such as these as fiscally irresponsible. Oliver stresses that while people may feel upset over government spending, it’s not an excuse to resort to violence.

Ethel I. Hanze

Funeral services for 97 year old Ethel I Hanze, formerly of Brighton are at 11:00 Saturday (3/27) morning at the Brighton United Church. Burial is at Schrock Cemetery north of Coppock. Family will greet friends at the church immediately following the funeral. A memorial has been established for Parkview Home.
