Record setting season for Demon boys basketball

The Washington Demon boys basketball team held their end of the season banquet earlier this week. Looking at the season it was one that saw quite a few records tied or fall. Some of the highlights include:
Most 3 point field goals in a game as a team with 15, which was set against Meskwaki Settlement.

Most 3 point field goals in a game by a Demon tied when Kaleb Rich hit 8, Matt Kruse and Jake Koller had made 8 in a game as well.

Most 3 point field goals in a season by a Demon, 79 by Isaac Gardner.

Most 3 point field goals in a Demon career, Isaac Gardner with 177.

Highest scoring average for a career at 16.5, Isaac Gardner.

In fact Gardner joined the Demon “Elite” Club in these categories:
200 Rebounds in a season- 217 09-10
400 Points in a season-476 09-10
50 “3 Point” Club in a season-79 09-10

Senior Alex Vogel joined the Demon “Elite” Club in these categories:
100 Assist in a season-144
300 Points in a season-376
75 Free Throws in a season-93

Isaac Gardner ended his career with 1,023 points, he joins Steve Brown, Kris Griffith, and Todd Fredrick as scoring 1,000 points in a career.

The Demons finished the season 16-7 and 6-2 in their conference.
