The boys’ indoor track season kicked off yesterday with the Demon Indoor at the University of Iowa Recreation Center. Twenty-five schools were at the meet ranging from 4A to 1A. Washington’s Jake Redlinger took second in the high jump clearing 6-4. Jeremy Dewulf finished 19th out of 98 in the shot put. The Demon 4×4 team of Landon Coker, Robert Seubert, Jordan Vittetoe and Travis Shellman finished fifth. The 4×8 team of Jon Schmitt, Robert Seubert, Jordan Vittetoe and Travis Shellman took 9th. Finally Joel Viettoe advanced out of the prelims in the 60 meter high hurdles.
