Washington County Supervisors narrowly approved an application for a state liquor license for the Kalona Golf Club. In the 3-2 decision, Steve Davis was one of the no votes. He cited two violations in the past year as the reason why he voted that way. The golf club is having its liquor license suspended for 30 days. That decision comes from the state.
