A local organization that acts as an advocate for people for disabilities has received its 29th consecutive three year accreditation. WCDC received the designation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, or CARF. The process involves a peer review and the demonstration of commitment to CARF standards. WCDC’s parent organization was founded in 1971. Its mission is to expand opportunities for people with disabilities to live in and be productive members of Washington and surrounding communities.
