The Washington High School Physics Team is state-bound. They finished first in three out of the five categories they competed in at the regional competition in Iowa City this week. Those were the human powered water heater and catapult contests, as well as the challenge problem, where the team is given an object without knowing the mass and has to find out its weight. Around 20 students from WHS are expected to compete in the state physics contest April 14 in Cedar Falls
