The area track and field teams know who they will be running against to qualify for the state track and field meet and where. In Class 3A, the Washington Demons will see familiar foes at Mount Pleasant. They’ll compete against Mount Pleasant, Fairfield, Fort Madison, Keokuk, Centerville, Chariton, and Clear Creek Amana.

In Class 2A, Mid-Prairie and Columbus will be at Eddyville-Blakesburg, along with Albia, Central Lee, Davis County, Eddyvillle-Blakesburg, Louisa-Muscatine, Mediapolis, Pekin, Iowa City Regina, Van Buren, West Burlington/Notre Dame.

In 1A. WACO will be the site for area 1A schools. Schools assigned to that site include, WACO, Highland, Keota, Lone Tree, Sigourney, Winfield-Mount Union, Cardnial, Danville, Harmony, Fairfield Maharishi, New London, Tri-County, and Wapello.

The District meets will be held May 14th.
