The Washington Demon boys soccer team has had to start this season shorthanded for a variety of reasons including academic ineligibility, but their coach says they should have help coming very soon. Demon Head Coach Sid Ryan says they played number one ranked Iowa City Regina shorthanded and on Friday they were so shorthanded they actually only had nine players on the field and for a good part of that game they only had eight because of some injuries. Ryan says soon that won’t be the case. He says they expect to get two key players back for their next game. Ryan says they should be at full strength May 1st. The Demons will next play Fairfield on Thursday.
