The Demon girls track and field team was at Pen City Relays in Fort Madison. The big story was the 4×8 team of Lucy Libe, Regan Enfield, Lauren Kimball and Mariah Reighard shaving 27 seconds off their best time and setting a school record. The team ran 9:49 which is the 12th best time in the state and gets them in to Drake. Also Sammy Ellingson took second in the high jump going 5′ 3”, which is right at the cut off for Drake so she could get in.
