The Demon boys and girls track and field teams have their last chance tonight to qualify events for Drake Relays. On the boys side, Head Coach Steve Rot says he feels like Jake Redlinger in the high jump is in, and as they head to Davis County’s meet this evening, they are focusing on the 4×8 and 4×1.

On the girls’ side, the Demons run at the Pen City Relays in Fort Madison. Head Coach Howard Bean says they have some events that are close to going to Drake such as their 4×8 and Lucy Libe in the 400 meter hurdles. He says they could have a couple of field events make it with Libe in the long jump in Jenna Krebs in either the discus or the shot. The deadline for Drake qualifying times is tomorrow.
