A local church is putting on a variety show to benefit earthquake victims in Haiti. Washington Immanuel Lutheran Church member Jim Sievers says “Harmony for Haiti” will feature a number of musical acts, with proceeds going to Kids Against Hunger. It’s an organization that boxes up food and sends it to impoverished nations. The money raised will also help fund a mission trip to build homes for displaced Haitians. Sievers says there will be singing, musical instruments and a dance group comprised of local high-school students. A free will offering will be taken . “Harmony for Haiti” is Sunday, April 18th, beginning at 4pm at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Washington.
