press play to hear from State Climatologist Harry Hillaker

Iowa is on pace to have one of the warmest Aprils on Record. State Climatologist Harry Hillaker says there’s only been two days so far that have been cooler than normal. He says rainfall surprisingly, has been close to normal. The recent streak of mild weather is expected to break this weekend. A large storm system is projected to move out of the central Rockies and across the plains, brining thunderstorms Thursday and Friday night.
