Celebration of life service for 57 year old Eric Bernard Hulquist of Wayland is Saturday (5/1) morning at 11:00 at the Wayland Mennonite Church. Friends may call from 1-8 pm Friday (4/30) afternoon at the Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. Family will meet with friends from 5-8 that evening. A general memorial has been established.

Description: Hospice of Washington County is Hosting a Public Seminar called “We are the Same, but Different: Practical Suggestions for the Journey of Grief” by Sasha Mudlaff. Sasha is the grief consultant for Hamilton’s Academy of Grief and Loss located in Des Moines. She conducts public grief programs and staff training throughout Iowa and nationally. The event is Monday, May 24, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM at the Washington County Fairgrounds Extension Building.
