Lucille Yoder

Funeral Services for 89 year old Lucille Yoder of Kalona will be held Monday (4/19) morning at 10 at the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in rural Kalona. Burial will be at the Lower Deer Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3-6pm tomorrow (4/18) at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona. A memorial fund has been established for Iowa City Hospice or the Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church

Laura Z. Neff

Funeral Services for 101 year old Laura Z. Neff of Washington will be held 10:30 Monday (4/19) morning at Jones-Eden Funeral Home. Burial will take place at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. Visitation begins tomorrow (4/18) morning at 11 at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home with family visitation from 2-4pm. A general memorial has been established.

Drivers License and ID Cards Issuance Change

Beginning Monday, the Iowa Department of Transportation is ending the “over the counter” issuance of driver licenses and non-operator identification cards and switch to a system known as “central issuance.”

Funeral Services for 75 year old Max Kaczinski (Kuh-Zin-Skee) of Washington will be at 10:30 Tuesday (4/20) morning at St. James Catholic Church. Burial with Military Honors conducted by Washington American Legion Post #29 will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation begins at noon Monday (4/19) at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home. Prayer services held at 6pm and Family visitation will be 6-8 Monday (4/19) evening. A memorial has been established to St. James Catholic Church.

No Charges to be Filed in Blankenship Death
