Fair-goers planning on showcasing their sheep or goats at this years Washington County Fair must be weighed and tagged on Saturday May 8th. All market lambs, feeder lambs, meat goats & dairy whethers as well as all commercial ewe lambs & meat goats must be weighed and tagged to be eligible to be shown at the Washington County Fair. The weigh-in and tagging will take place at the Washington County Fairgrounds from 8:30 a.m. to11:00 a.m. on May 8th. There is a charge of $1.00 per animal for ear tags, paid for on the day of the weigh-in. If you have any questions about weigh-ins, contact the Washington County Extension Office.
