A former Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk will be taking the track at Drake next week as a collegiate. Mid-Prairie standout Aaron Stockstell went to the University of Alabama to continue his track career. His high school head coach Steve Hollan says for Stockstell in college he has been very successful and is ranked in the top 5 in his region in the 800 meter run and ranked about number eleven in the nation in that event. Hollan says the Golden Hawks that will be competing at Drake on the high school side are excited about sticking around to watch their former teammate run in the 4×8 in the college meet.
